Moving forward with our theme, "One World, One Humanity," the social service wing of Revo Advertising, ''Revo Social Care Service'' recently made a financial donation to a compassionate lady dedicated to the well-being of stray animals.

Mrs. Sudharma, a resident of the Lakshapathiya area in Moratuwa, spends her days tirelessly providing food and medical care for street dogs and cats. She collects discarded meat, fish, and leftover rice from nearby food outlets to ensure these innocent creatures do not go hungry. Her selfless commitment stems from a simple yet profound realization: while humans can express their pain in words, these animals suffer in silence.

Mrs. Sudharma’s compassion is well-known in the community. She was a key figure in a recent incident that went viral on Facebook involving a group of dogs trapped inside a closed government institution in Moratuwa. These animals were stranded for days without food or water, unable to escape. Mrs. Sudharma intervened decisively, notifying the authorities and coordinating the rescue of the suffering animals.

රෙවෝ ඇඩ්වර්ටයිසින් අපි Revo Social Care Service සමාජ සේවා ව්‍යාපෘති අංශයේ ‘‘එකම ලෝකයක් එකම මනුෂ්‍යත්වයක්‘‘ තේමාව තවත් ඉදිරියට ගෙන යමින් ස්වේච්ඡාවෙන්ම විදි සුනඛයන්ට හා බළලුන්ට දිනපතා ආහාරපාන ලබාදෙන සහ එම සතුන්ගේ රෝගි තත්ත්වයන්ට ප්‍රතිකාර කරන කාන්තාවක් වෙත මුදල් පරිත්‍යාග කිරිම පසුගියදා සිදු කෙරුණි.

මොරටුව ලක්ෂපති ප්‍රෙද්ශයේ වෙසෙන සුදර්මා මහත්මිය අවට ආහාරපාන අලෙවි සැල්වලින් ඉවත් කරන ආහාර ද්‍රවයවල ඇති මස් මාලු හා ඉතිරිවන බත් සතුන්ට ලබාදිමට කටයුතු කරන්නීය. මිනිසුන්ට තමන්ගේ වේදනාවන් ප්‍රකාශ කිරිමට හෝ හැකියාව තිබුනද සතුන්ට එවැනි හැකියාවක්වත් නොමැති බැවින් ඔවුන්ගේ ප්‍රධානම ආහාර අවශ්‍යතාවය හා රෝගීවන විට පිහිට උපකාර ලබාදීමට ඇය ස්ව කැමැත්තෙන්ම කැපවී කටයුතු කරන්නිය.

පසුගිය කාලයේ ෆේස්බුක් ඔස්සේ වයිරල් වුන එක්තරා සිදුවිමක් වන මොරටුව ප්‍රෙද්ශයේ එක්තරා රජයේ ආයතනයක් සම්පුර්ණයෙන්ම වසා දමා ඇති අතර ඒ ඉඩම තුළ හිරවුන සුනඛයන් පිරිසක් දින ගනනක් එලියට යාමට හෝ ආහාර ජලය සපුරා ගැනිමට නොහැකිව දැඩි පිඩාවට පත්ව සිටියේය. එහිදි බලධාරීන් දැනුවත් කරමින් එම සතුන් මුදාගැනීමේ කටයුතුවලට ඇය මැදිහත්ව තිබුණි.
